I just finished reading Unlearn Your Anxiety and Depression by Howard Schubiner, M.D. and think it's so great I wanted to post a quick review so others will know the book is out there. Just as in Unlearn Your Pain, he provides a clear, well-researched, compassionate, concise, yet thorough discussion of how anxiety and depression are, indeed, forms of Mindbody Syndrome (MBS). He then discusses how the process for treatment and healing is the same as for chronic pain and other symptoms of MBS.

Here's the Amazon write-up on the ebook:

Dr. Schubiner combines cutting edge neurological and psychological research underscoring the role of learned neural pathways in anxiety and depression. He shows how these common symptoms are generated by problems in the experience and expression of emotions, and how these symptoms can be “unlearned” by corrective emotional experiences. His perspective and intervention recommendations can reshape not only your life and your health, but also the way our society and health care system deal with anxiety and depression. This eBook contains the first five chapters of the hard copy version of Unlearn Your Anxiety and Depression (which will be available in early 2015). The self-guided program however is available now in the hard copy version of Unlearn Your Pain, available from amazon.com.
