    Warning: graphic content.

Everyone in traditional medicine gives a certain amount of lip service to mind-body disorders, but they still presume you have the physical disorder. Only Dr Martinez at NE Baptist said "nothing wrong with your spine. GO home . Exercise. You have TMS."
Are there any Gastrointestinal specialists in Boston who are TMS informed? I feel that I am going down the rabbit hole with this year's symptom of choice, IBS. The routine colonoscopy showed nothing more than "a redundant and capacious colon" which alarmed me until my pcp said that's just something you're born with. (I thought it meant my colon has a personality disorder. )

If you get grossed out easily skip my next sentence, but GI doc suggested a diagnostic procedure in which they blow up a balloon your rectum and then watch you and measure your efforts to poop it out or hold it in. I said, are you SERIOUS, and declined. So she suggested another test- less humiliating. But really? For something that I know is TMS?

And toe pain? Yeah, I stubbed my big toe and broke it- years ago, and suddenly, I can't put weight on either foot? Any foot pain TMS specialists here? I'm not looking for New Age charlatans (my prejudice is showing) but a medically qualified doctor- like Sarno--who can give me the affirmation that helps me heal.

    Referrals welcome.
