Article on "Crooked" book- thoughts?

Mostly about the book "Crooked" that came out recently. I was wondering what people's thoughts were or if anyone had read the book? From this article, it looks like the author does a good job of debunking the effectiveness of medication and surgery for back pain, which is excellent. However, there's no mention of the emotional/psychological nature of back pain and definitely no mention of TMS or the like. There is an emphasis on using PT at the end of the article. But of course this still does not acknowledge back pain as having psychogenic origins instead of physical. I have to say i'm disappointed that Sarno isn't mentioned at all...though the rest seems like a step in the right direction. Thoughts?

 

Here's a thread from the TMS HELP FORUM about her book. I attended her book signing recently and bought it. She lives down the street from me coincidentally. Sarno is cited several times in her book and she may have done one of the last interviews with him before his passing. She has some info about him I hadn't heard before :
