Sorry to hear that, but you're only 6 weeks post surgery and you have to keep reminding yourself of that.

I see a lot of fear in your post - you'll need to calm your central nervous system down before you can make rational decisions on this. Try to figure out what you can do to gain some composure - it's different for everyone but find something that works for you. Then see how you feel about it at that point. You're in a good place here and there is excellent support - but ultimately it is on each of us to find some balance and what works for us.

Been thinking on this and have more thoughts. You're getting tossed around in a stormy sea of fear and rumination, you need a lifeline. So here's some things I would latch on to if you're able:

    - This forum. Not just this thread but read around about other success stories here, especially knee related ones.
    - Pod casts on TMS. You never know when something you hear on one will resonate.
    - This is a big one. Looks for TMS clues with your pain. Does it move around? Does it sometimes go away or change? Does its behavior ever not make sense? (like suddenly hurt when you're laying in bed) These clues are great to find because they are evidence for your brain to latch onto that TMS is truly at work. You may want to start adding these to an Evidence list to look back on later.
