The fear of pain, physical activity, injury or spinal abnormality is enough to perpetuate TMS. John Sarno Jul 3, 2025 at 1:10 PM

  • My Story

I have had TMS my whole life on and off. It usually went away because I ignored it. In 2017, I learned about Sarno. In 2020, started accruing a new batch of symptoms; 16 of them. Difficulty walking, RSI in my hands (can’t type), pains all over, weird sensations, you name it. Been on the forum since 2024. Working my way out of this. I’ve learned so much!

Tonight I did some volunteer work and I totally completely forgot about TMS. That was a great feeling!

Got my hair done today! Walked the farthest I have walked in more than 6 months. My body tried to shut me down, but I laughed at it.

Finally got out of the house! No longer house bound! Getting out most days.

Yesterday I pictured only fun plans in my head all day, and it was a great day!

New to the wiki, but not new to Dr. Sarno. Together we can make it.
