    I'm a Goodist/PeoplePleaser through and through. Abusive mother, early adult bulimic, recovering alcoholic, chronic back/hip pain, IBS, allergies, (that also sometimes shows up elsewhere in my body.)

    I just read Dr. Sarno's book MB Prescription. Am completely blown away. I know this is me and I've begun taking steps, including joining this forum. I've already regained much of the lost function and my pain is diminished by about 60%.

    I have completely ignored my id the past 10 yrs or so, especially the past 2 yrs (My book was published and I just finished a couple grueling book signing tours.) No wonder Cuzin Id is so pissed off!
