Once when I was in college I was taking a nap and asked my then boyfriend to wake me at a certain time, which he tried to do .... BUT while still in my sleep state, I chided him,
"Stop it!! - You are NOT the boss of me!"
(A throw back from hearing kids say that when I was a child).
It was a silly joke in fun for years later anytime there was a request, "Uh, you're not the boss of me, are you?"
Was reminded of this after reading comments by @Rabscuttle and @Diana-M regarding being your own hero and being a bit of a rebel.....Feels like I might need to remind fear/symptoms of this.... over. and. over. again -
and maybe even tap into that inner brat in my subconscious!
