When you have a panic attack, face the fear, fear seems to be a bully but it's really a positive emotion reminding you to take care of yourself. In the case of a panic attack its good to stand up to this bully so you will not be in an endless loop of panic, don't fear the panic or fear -- let it come if it must and practice floating at this time while breathing deep and staying calm. know this panic will not harm you, you will gain a new power by facing this attack that you have been scared of, again don't fear this anxiety, by looking at and feeling your emotion of the anxiety you weaken its power and soon you will defeat it, time will help you here as you are sensitized to this anxiety so be patient and know with enough time you will eventually build yourself into less sensitization creating a stronger mindset to wave off the anxiety. After you have faced the attack with the knowledge -- not to fear it, start to breath down into your belly, take 3 or 4 deep breaths then repeat I am calm and imagine feeling the calmness. I'm relaxed and imagine feeling relaxed as you take another deep breath. Now feel this emotion in your body, don't fear it , judge it or criticize it -- at this time repeat the words peace, love and joy several times feeling these emotions. Now go back to the fear emotion, is it still there? If so then feel the emotion knowing that it is the same emotion that you get energized with so that you can have awesome workouts and win those basketball games you love so much. You have been told in the past that you have no control over your anxiety so you created a fear in your belief system that you are already doomed. Your a winner in all you do and now with practice and staying in the now with gratitude and seeing this anxiety as a chance to overcome a belief that has looped you into these attacks. The anxiety is happening till you stand up to it and make a habit of feeling this energetic emotion fearlessly, and putting a new label on this feeling, this sensation, the label of being free from thoughts that are fear based is one of them, when we attach ourselves to fear thoughts and let those thoughts play over and over again we are setting ourselves up for panic. When you desensitize yourself from fear based thoughts and start to love feeling your feelings, go out at least twice a day and do something you want to do but have feared to do because of self conscious thoughts that are illusions, feared.
