Day 1 Why?

gandalf

Newcomer
never posted anything in my life and not sure why i am now. i am here to learn about mbs. working thru the structured learning and i was instructed to do this for day one. why?

Hi Gandalf, great name by the way.

I know what you mean about why, but I've noticed what I've got out of this (I'm on day 10, but I've had a few interruptions so it hasn't been 10 consecutive days) is that just getting advice from people having similar issues really does help. If you were going it alone, especially if you don't have a doctor or specialist advising you on this TMS/MBS thing, it would be a lot harder not to become overcome by doubt and lose faith in the process.

You might like to think about telling your story, how you ended up here - there's a good chance that others or many others have or are working through these pages with the same or similar experiences. You can write as much or as little as you want.

Also, even just replying to someone's thread sometimes gives you revelations about yourself - at least, that's what I have found. And finally, if you see people who are ahead of you in the program and have made good progress, it tells your brain that you too can make steps in that direction.

BTW, I've still got plenty of work to do as I've still got lots of pain, but I'm getting glimpses of how the TMS/MBS theory rings true, and I think all these glimpses eventually add up to an unshakeable belief that TMS is real and TMS can be beaten - that's my hope anyway.

All the best.

Hello gandalf,

it is not a must to post, but it will help you and others to get things clear.
We are all in the same, when you have quistions; ask, when you want to tell something; tell.
When you won't; don't. It is all oké.

Hi, gandalf. I agree with the others. It's essential in healing from TMS emotions that give us pain that we do a lot of thinking and journaling to discover those emotions. You're here among friends. You can share as much as you want in posts. If you prefer, keep your posts to yourself.
