I hope you can overcome this because it’s not fair to hold these things against yourself for the rest of your life. Along the lines of what @Rinkey advised you, I read this book that has helped me so much this year, called Feeling Good, by David Burns. It helps you figure out cognitive distortions— wrong thinking patterns— that keep you miserable. It’s been a lifesaver for me!I live with oppressive guilt and shame - not over my own abuse but more about how I allowed my anger to cause me to hurt others emotionally.
