URGENT: Has anyone ever heard of TMS pain in the left breast/chest area? It is INTENSE and CONSTANT. Extremely sensitive to touch with slight pressure. Aching, throbbing, burning, gnawing and.... constant pain for 9 months now. Cause is unknown (had extensive testing and seen every specialist). I have been reading the books about TMS and am having a hard time connecting because I haven’t come across anyone saying that their pain is in the breast/chest area with my symptoms. It has taken over my life, leaving me unable to drive or work. I’m frozen and can’t live like this. It is beyond my threshold. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi there! I don't know if its TMS but I work in Breast Health Center as a mammographer and I've seen many patients (both males and females) with conditioned like you described. The only thing that we can do for them is to rule of breast cancer and they go back to their PCP for follow up visit. Many of the dr that I work with connect that type of diffuse breast/chest pain with coffee intake and recommend to stop drinking it for a month or two. Usually it helps.
As I said I don't know if its TMS but definitely very common type of symptoms. Rule out serious condition and get to work if its TMS.
    Hope this helped,
    Take care!
