I tore my calf muscle earlier today. I stepped off a curb and heard a pop sound and then the pain started. (So much for not being that fragile)! I've had some success with eliminating the pain by ignoring it and not fearing it, etc. But since there's an actual injury, I'm wondering if I should be following the advice to rest it and put ice on it. At least for a few days. Do any of you athletic folks out there have any advice? Thanks!
