Since I discovered about TMS 10 days ago, I've been more hopeful and relaxed. I really do wish that this is my problem and that there are no other underlying physical problems or diseases. A lot of it makes sense, and I'm gaining confidence slowly, although I must say that I do have my doubts.
However, I am going to focus about the positive things: My piriformis and leg pain is getting better. I am walking longer stretches, doing housework and swimming. I try to do these activities without thinking about pain so much. I am still doing Physical therapy exercises, with the hope of getting stronger (since with disuse my muscles really got weaker). This week I plan to go to the gym and see how it goes. I'm waiting for Sarno's book to arrive by post... can't wait to start reading it!
I am mostly worried about my nerve pain in my arms and hands. But I guess that when I compare it with last month, the pain has lessened. I am learning to be patient and not to put pressure on myself. It's stressful to tell myself for example that by November I have to be 100% pain free... I am too deadline driven and I have to let go.
Anyway, still enthusiastic about completing the rest of the program
