Hi everyone, Forest has suggested I let you all know about SIRPA’s upcoming TMS conference because it might be a while before he is able to put something on the wiki himself.

It will be held at the Royal Society of Medicine in London, UK and will be held on Sunday 15th October 2017. The feedback from our first conference was outstanding and we know this will be even better with up to 300 people attending. Although it is aimed at health professionals and coaches working with people with TMS/PPD, it is also open to anyone interested in finding out more about this concept and approach.

Our speakers include some of our own Specialists, Howard Schubiner MD, Dave Clarke MD and also David Hanscom MD. Science writer and award-winning author, Donna Jackson Nakazawa will also be flying over from the US to speak about the evidence linking adverse childhood experiences with ill-health in later life, including chronic pain.

This conference will also give us the opportunity to remember the amazing and resilient man that Dr Sarno was and without whom this conference would not be running. It will also provide another stepping stone to help build on his legacy as we continue to work to change the way that the western world understands and treats chronic pain and other persistent health problems.

To find out more or to book on the conference, just go to the website, www.sirpaconference.com and please do help us spread the word.

On a more personal note, I would like to express how appreciative I am of how supportive the US Specialists have been of my own work with SIRPA, especially Howard Schubiner MD and Dave Clarke MD, since meeting them back in 2009. Ours is a wonderfully altruistic community, started by Dr Sarno and continuing through all of us who are passionate about making a difference and building on his legacy.
