    Hi Everyone

I’ve posted elsewhere about my anxiety, TMS and the sheer amount of terrifying symptoms I’ve successfully overcome over a very long period of time but my jaw pain, emanating from the masseter muscle, is currently bugging me but not getting me down like it used to.

What baffles me is why this symptom can suddenly flare up when I’m doing something or going somewhere where I don’t want to be, or if I’m in a scenario where I’ve had pain before.

Does anyone have any wisdom on this. Obviously at a subconscious level I’m getting stressed in such situations but it’s just so odd how it affects very specific muscles. It’s always been like this for me. For example I had a headache that once lasted for four years without any let up but it suddenly went away when I got to grips with the psychological origin but it always then finds another part of the body.
