Thoracic Outlet Syndrome

Hoping to connect with someone who has had success with thoracic Outlet Syndrome and TMS work.

I used to think of TOS as a BS diagnosis. I feel that way about all "syndromes". However, during an Adson test, I lose pulse completely and therefore blood flow on my right side, which makes me think that it is a physical issue and not TMS.

Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks!

@miffybunny and @FredAmir, why do you think it's tms?

I was diagnosed years ago and I've been using the Sarno approach to work on it. Do you know of any specific success stories or anything else that would help?

I know Sarno mentions it by name in the mind body prescription but I'm looking for anything that would help support that. I've felt some of my symptoms lessen and change to an extent but I would still love to see or read anything else supporting that it's tms. Thanks.

    Hi Blackstar,

See koukla's TMS success story (at the top of this webpage) http://www.tmshelp.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4204 (TMSHelp Forum - Carolyn's RSI Success Story). She was diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome with median and ulnar nerve impingement.

Forest was also diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome by a doctor, but it was actually TMS and he recovered, see https://www.thankyoudrsarno.org/tag/thoracic-outlet-syndrome (thoracic outlet syndrome - Thank You, Dr. Sarno).

There's rothith2506's posting here (at the top of this webpage) https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=24852270 (I have suffered with thoracic outlet syndrome for almost 2 years. Countless phys... | Hacker News).

And look for CB's story here (6th story down from the top of the webpage) http://podolsky.everybody.org/rsi/stories.html (People's TMS stories)

This is great, thank you so much, Bloodmoon. I've never had much luck searching the success stories forum here.

Eddy Lindenstein from “The Mind and Fitness” podcast was diagnosed with TOS snd I believe he actually had surgery for it. He speaks about it frequently in earlier episodes of the podcast. You might even email him and discuss, he’s accessible.
