Hey Guys !

Im 20 Years old and i sufferd from TMS a 3 years ago .
my tms included back pain (espaicelly in the shoulders) , all body pain , insomania , IBS , skin issues , anxiety and depression.
After i read a book of john serano and start to know about all the tms thing , all my issues get solved and i was symptoms free.

now 3 years later i noticing that i start to have male pattern baldness and when i see photos , i recognize that it all started just after that all my symptoms gone , and as we all know the source for the pain on tms is lack of oxigen in the blood and bad blood circulation th the muscles.
and i read few days ago that one of the reasons to hairloss its a bad blood circulation to the hair follicles.

now my question is - there a chance that there really conection between tms and hairloss or its just my imagination ?
and if yes , have you ever heard something about it , experince it or know if there something in the tms method that i can do against it ?

thanks a lot :)

In my experience I believe your current hair issues could very well be TMS (especially due to how young you are). I haven't suffered the same fate but, shortly after reading the TMS literature and doing the structured program last year I got bad allergies OUT OF NO WHERE. It came on after I got over my back pain. I've since started re-reading literature and journaling and realize that the mind will switch up the symptoms in order to keep the distraction going. I notice some improvement since i've started journaling again recently... I would suggest re-reading TMS material and journaling to help getting over any new mannifestions.

I wish you the best man

Hey, I cannot say for sure with regard to male baldness. I am female and I used to suffer from bald patches (alopecia areata). After I did the structured program and treated it as a TMS symptom it all grew back and I haven't had it in 2 years now... in fact I learnt to notice that when I grew angry I used to feel something funny going on in those patches... weird but true!
Give it a try, treat it as TMS, do meditation and breathe air into your head (kind of visualise that good energy is flowing in). Because, with TMS equivalents, you really never know!

Hair loss can be caused by many issues. In so young age it can be because of stress, genes, and health problems. If it's really bad, you should go to a specialist to diagnose the problem and what is the reason for it. If you want to prevent it try to stay calm, eat balanced food, maybe use shampoo for hair loss. Even if you are a man use a hair dryer after a shower because hair can easily get thinner when its wet on cold. Also, you can try some head massage, I heard it can help too. Good luck!

When I was 15, I cought my mother cheating on my father. They were arguing and he wanted a divorce. They didnt talk to me about that, I was just crying in my room all the time. Soon after, I realized i have bald spot on my head, and hairstylist saw another one, but smaller. It never grew up, so I guess my first symptom was hair losing.

They never took me to dermatologist or someone, my mom just said “it’s because you are stressed”.. #momoftheyear

I think for me it was just genetic, I had a receding hairline from about 18 by the time I was 26 it looked kind of ridiculous and got me down a lot, actually causing depression, anxiety and other TMS symptoms. So I decided to shave it all off and it was liberating.

I wouldn't want to go back to a full head of hair anymore now.

I've always had very thick hair. Two years ago, during the worst part of my TMS journey, I lost almost 50% of my hair. As a female, it was devastating and I considered wearing a wig. The hair loss could have been because of the extremely painful treatments and diagnostic tests I was undergoing at the time, or it could have been stress induced. As the TMS has subsided, my hair grew back. I found that scalp massage, collagen supplementation, and biotin supplements have all helped. Even though my hair is thick again, I've continued massage and supplementation to keep my hair and scalp healthy. I also use shampoo that is sulfate free.

My nephew had severe alopecia when he was in his 20's, caused by severe stress. People who didn't know him thought he had cancer treatments. It eventually grew back and he has had a thick head of hair for years. He did nothing to get the hair back, no massaging, no supplementation. On the other hand, if males on your mother or father's side have male pattern baldness, then it's quite likely genetic.

Unfortunately I'd say that male hairloss is 95% genetic. Anxiety can increase hairloss but it's usually not the root of the problem. If you are concerned you could start finasteride.
