well, that was yesterday. I've been enjoying being back into walking each day and doing body weight excercise. Started doing dips on the bars at my local park which felt amazing as it's been nearly a year since i've been doing that.
This morning however i was going to take my wife to work and popped out to the shed to get something. Whilst in the shed bending over slightly, i felt a muscle grab in my lower back / side. At first i was panicked and as i walked back to the house it got a bit worse. I was trying so hard to keep going over in my head that this is just caused by emotional factors. I decided to not drive my wife to work which was a battle in my mind as it goes against the idea of not fearing this pain and to not let it stop you doing things. We both agreed that it may cause more anxiety on the drive so I just got stuck into journaling instead.
Part of me was celebrating as this is a new area to be effected (i previously had it spasm badly on the other side early this year and my other consistent pain has been sharp and around the illiac crest) and another part was trying to be dragged into fear and worry.
It comes at a convenient time as last night I scheduled some near future physical activities that i hadn't done all year - I also had thoughts arise that I could be getting closer to unraveling the deep emotional cause of my chronic pain and so the mind is gearing up to prevent it.
