Okay, okay, it's not that bad - I just really wanted to use that title! The question is, "In the past two weeks, has your pain been moving around?" Has it EVER. The most obvious example was a few days ago when it jumped from my right ("bad") foot to my left; I actually caught myself limping on the wrong foot! I laughed it off and it went away in a day. But it's not always that easy or that clear-cut: if I dwell on them, new painful spots can start the fear hamster running on his little wheel, round and round. Some days I need all the tools in my (growing) toolbox to ward off the negative self-talk and break the cycle. In the end, though, it's my TMS that's going to be "defeeted."
