Tension

Am I right in saying that any form of muscle aches, tension or pain that disappears while you are asleep or drunk or completely relaxed is psychological????? And I can't believe I have posted this because I know the answer. Just interested in what u guys think. Serious health issues do not just dissappear over night and come back lol

Haha. I have been told by my doc to stop physio, stop reading about it and stop googling. Stop giving it the time of day. I am fairly new to tms and even though I know it's psychological in still am not sure if it is tms. It's kind of an ocd and depression thing. I'm currently signed off from work at the moment. I tried to go back but I was in a terrible state. I'm very depressed with it. But I have a question. I find if I lay down in a certain position with a pillow under my knees it really helps. Also if I have a hot water bottle it feels good. Is this the wrong thing to do???. Iv also just started taking magnesium because I hear it helps with aches and pains and also anxiety. Its just a few things I do to help me out. Is this OK????

Good question about doing things that feel good. It is very hard to not assume positions that lessen the pain. I think OCD/TMS/Depression/Lots of other human feelings all go together.
