Today I told someone I love that they are regularly doing something that is really hurting me. I have procrastinated this conversation because things like this can change a relationship. Maybe permanently. I decided it’s eating me alive because I haven’t said anything. I feel like this is taking my honesty to a new level.

We shall see what happens.

Interesting, Diana - is this coming right on top of your tough day, which I think was just in the last couple of days? It does feel like you have a lot going on!
 
I'm sure that whatever you said needed to be said @Diana-M. I hope that whatever it is and involves, it will all work out fine for you and in your relationship with them, even if it may take a while for any possible dust to settle. Sometimes it can be a case of "it's darkest before the dawn"... that is, things may seem the worst right before they improve - which is something to bear in mind should there be any fallout at all. Keep strong, my friend!

Yes, Jan it is on top of me having a hard day but I think that’s why I was having a hard day because this has been brewing for a long time.

You are right I immediately felt relief. And I think the biggest problem was that I wasn’t willing to say anything— and now I am, so that’s a big change!
