All the Rage Film Stossel Episode watch here!

Thanks for posting that, Caroline! It is wonderful the work that you and the rest of Rumur are doing to spread the word.

It's great to have a follow up segment from Stossel after the 20/20 episode to see how he is doing. I thought it was great that while he may still get back spasms, he can just ignore them and get on with his life. Eventually, they just fade away. This is important because us TMSers are such perfectionists that even if we have a 60% or larger decrease in pain, we often aren't happy unless it is 100% gone. But for some of us, a certain amount of TMS just seems to be part of life.

I don't know about anyone else, but I think it's good to see that Stossel understands this and can roll with the ups and downs without letting it cause him to worry. Once we get back into the cycle of worry, the TMS has us in its grips and that only leads to worse symptoms.

Forest, you're right that even if we feel 60 percent or more pain has left us, we are perfectionists and want it all to go away.
One person posting today says she feels 99.9 percent pain free but worries about the remaining 1 percent she still has.
That's because she holds back 1 percent in believing her symptoms are TMS. Our subconscious must be a perfectionist too
because it wants 100 percent belief.

Life keeps stressing us every day so we have to expect some pain somewhere, to some degree.
We need to keep living in the present and accepting symptoms to come up, but we know how to deal with the,
thanks to Dr. Sarno and TMS "knowledge penicillin."
