Yes dizzy spells seem to be a hard thing for me to ged rid off and i can have it for a day but sometimes it stays with me for weeks but i know there is nothing i can do about it. I went to an osteopath in the past before i knew about tms because i was sooo scared of this symptom, but ofcourse this did not help. I encountered the gupta program at that time focusing on stopping negative thoughts and not focusing on the symptoms which i did all the time. It s more or less the same as Alan Gordons program. After some time it just went away, but i remember it took me some months... Don't be discouraged by that, it could go away sooner, but i remember I had a hard time stopping being afraid of it. WHat i can tell you for sure is that it was my high anxiety about my symptoms which brought about the dizziness in the first place AND perpetuated and aggravated the dizziness as well! I understand how scared you are, but just try to do what you can. Ofcourse it bothers me and i don t feel well when i have it, but when it pops up and i have to go to work or whatever, i try to remain calm in the midst of the storm and just not think about it whilst it is something you cannot ignore,i know. I am fortunate that I have a desk job because with the dizziness I would not be able to work. But when sitting down I work slowly, say to myself that this too will pass, that I am safe and just do what i can do. I use the faster eft method - see youtube to stop my high anxiety and it is a godsend. It enables me too get rid of my anxiety in only 5 minutes. The Havening techique is another wonderfull method.
