You can see some background on my pain at

I am beginning the Structured Education Program (SEP) because I have only gotten 80% better and I want to be 100% better. Also, I retired at the beginning of December, and now have more time to devote to this.
I fully accept the TMS diagnosis. I learned about TMS 25 years ago and have a lot of experience with the theory and practice. I believe my most recent bout of pain (which started 10/26/24) is TMS because it fits the profile and alternates with migraines and OCD.
What would a life without TMS mean to you?
It would mean finally being free from the tyrant of pain and the fear that I will never escape it. I would be able to fully and truly enjoy my retirement that I’ve worked so hard for. My family would not have to worry about me, see me suffer, or have to take care of me.
