Secret civil war?

War is horrifiying.... but civil war is worse. Any civil war is hell on earth!
In my honest opinion TMS victims are delivering some kind of weird, secret, hidden, psicological, emotional civil war. The physical pain is just an epiphenomenon of such a cruel inner battle .... and is created by our protective brain in order to subside the devastating effects of that emotional civil war. Only the armistice could lead us to the end of that physical, real pain.
    Just guessing!

Gosh I really couldn't agree with you more.
Recently I've been thinking that my physical pain is a manifestation of inner conflict. If I could just not second-guess myself all the time. Hesitancy, resistance, reluctance, self-doubt, guilt...these are all feelings that keep us trapped and unable to move. When I feel the best is when I am at peace with things. And it has very little to do with external circumstances. I often rationalize, "If I just do laundry, wash the dishes, go to the gym, call my brother, and practice some music....THEN I will be at peace and my pain will go away." This is incorrect. Be at peace first, then everything you want to do will come in its appointed time. Inner civil war...good one.
