Day 1 second time around

Years ago I followed the pain recovery program and it worked well enough to keep me from submitting to surgery on my foot. I honestly did not really expect it to work and was amazed when it did. Since then I have learned more about Dr. Sarno and wish he could be awarded a posthumous Nobel Prize. Now I have pain in my foot---different foot, different part -- and have been ignoring it for weeks (after having had x-rays showing nothing.) So I am humbly starting anew, hoping for the same miracle. I'm ready to say, Thank you again, Dr. Sarno.

Yes! I now treat any unexpected pain that arrives as tms - i try and find what has triggered me - upset me, I keep a list on the wall - Is there a future event I am worrying about? etc. Often it is an event or a family meeting that causes it - I journal, meditate and it goes.....
