Repressed anger?

Dr. Sarno often says that repressed anger is at the root cause of TMS but what about fear? It seems that fear would be just as powerful as anger. I've come to realize that I do have some anger that I wasn't aware of before. But for me fear has always been the biggest issue. Wouldn't intense fear have the same affect as repressed anger?

I agree with Herbie that fear and anger are about equal in causing pain.
And they both have plenty of things that contribute to them.
I wish there were an easy way to rid ourselves of both, but it takes some deep and
personal thinking. What do we fear? Why are we angry?

Maybe it could help if we made a list of reasons for both.
Then think about each of the reasons.

While doing this, maybe think about releasing...
letting go of both fear and anger.
Reminding ourself that what we fear is usually not worth worrying about.
And what made us angry is from the past and we should let it go.
If we live in the present and keep busy and active and positive, the fear and anger
can be replaced by feeling good about ourselves and life.
