Profound teaching on working with pain

Hiya all, it's been a minute since I have been on here...hope you are all finding your way with meaningful shifts!
This article is by one of my heroes, Shinzen Young. Without his guidance and audios(especially Breakthrough Difficult Emotions) I honestly don't know where I would be. It won't be everyone's cup of tea, but of anyone I figure some folks here might just connect. Probably most are already finding their way through the maze with some similar techniques.
Anyways, if you're curious, check it out. Hopefully it helps :)

All the best for you! Yeah you!

Great article, @ahri11 - thank you!

I expect you'll know of it, but in case anyone else reading might be interested, I thought I'd just add that I find Shinzen's 'breath pleasure' meditation so helpful. This webpage describes the meditation https://daronlarson.com/blog/breath-pleasure (Breath Pleasure — Daron Larson, Mindfulness Coach) and it gives a link to Shinzen's 'Natural Pain Relief' book which it says has the 'breath pleasure' meditation in it. I can't vouch for that though as I don't have that particular book -- instead I've got the CD version of one of his other audio books, which has 4 meditations on it to include 'breath pleasure' which can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/Pain-Relief-Shinzen-Young-audiobook/dp/B00PUW7BSW/ref=sr_1_1?crid=EZPBWKV7L76&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.odZF7PREVn1GOjb_OQluHM0x3i1spwXMqacT4r_Rxk22GztXVKpyFT0SPh2-CmMa.9fXoyae8Ho5U1wdxNaSNhSTZkJeg0T5NysTCwUFFi54&dib_tag=se&keywords=sounds+true+pain+relief+shinzen+young&qid=1720341371&s=audible&sprefix=sounds+true+pain+relief+shinzen+young,audible,139&sr=1-1

Great addition @BloodMoon ! Thanks for sharing the links.

I haven't read that book either but worked with that Pain Relief audio(prior to the Breaking Through Difficult Emotions mentioned above) for a long while and highly recommend!
The breath pleasure meditation if you're there is wonderful...but if the pain, and entanglement in it, is too great, then the Pain Relief audio(the 4 meditations) is perfect for getting there step by step(breath by breath?!).
