Poly neuropathy advice - Thanks John - hope you can help me one more time

I am at a cross road here and need some advice. I have significant numbness in my hands and feet and a neurologist has said that I have poly nephropathy of unknown etiology. He wanted to do more tests but I didn't want too. The EMG said it was indicative of a demylenating process. This EMG scared me and made my symptoms much worse. Functionally and strength wise I am doing quite well but sometimes the numbness can make me feel off balance and this concerns me. That said, in the past I have been healed of many things by Sarno's methods. Is this just my mind taking things to the next level and finding something that would really scare the blank out of me. Most people here say that their emg's were fine and mine wasn't so can it still be TMS. I don't no whether I should go to another specialist or go the Sarno way. Thanks. By the way John Sarno is the smartest man I ever met and would probably be disappointed in me. God Bless you John.

Did you already do a search on this forum on numbness and/or peripheral neuropathy??
