do you sometimes feel like everything needs to be set in a certain way? im having trouble especially when speaking or reading a book. if i read something wrong or did not understand the sentence repeat and start all over again until i get it right. legit it could take me 10-15 minutes to read one page of a book because i repeat it until i get every words. is this perfectionist? i cant focus in the present and forget everything

im dealing with this by acceptance and continue reading until i focus more and more and stop thinking about other things. yeah i might skip important info o plot but if i keep repeating im never going to finish. is this a good way?

same thing happens when litening to something or watching a movie or series. if i dont get a single thing i rewind and repeat until i get it

Your "perfectionist" behavior sounds like a TMS equivalent, a different kind of distraction. It sounds similar to OCD behavior. Not all TMS equivalents involve physical pain. It can be anything that holds your attention.
