Pelvic pain and psychological factors

Not sure if this has been posted before, but I found this very interesting. It's an article from the Journal of the American Physical Therapy Association talking about psychological factors with pelvic pain. It - not surprisingly - found a link between pain and pain-related fear, anxiety and catastrophizing. I know we talk about that a lot on here, how fearing the pain makes it worse or brings it on. I found it validating that another source said the same thing.

Wow what a great study Wings313. This section summed it up for me.
"some people are more likely to develop and maintain pain after an injury because of their emotional and behavioral responses to pain."
Thanks
