Pain has escalated since starting journalling.

I'm new to this forum but not to the TMS world. I have been resisting journalling for some time but rhen decided I had nothing to lose so dived in!

This was only a few days ago and have noticed an increase in my sensations already.

I would be interested to hear if anyone else experienced this when starting unleashing the 'rage in the page' ! .

Thank you .

It's very common yes! And can show that you're onto something as the brain senses it as dangerous.

I am a few months into this work and yes, my pain flares up when I journal and even flared up when I started reading John Sarno's book, a few days ago. I asked a similar question just a couple of days ago and was told that many people experience an increase in pain. In the beginning of this work, I was working through the Pain Reprocessing Workbook and had to stop because the pain ramped up. I've learned not to do too much heavy stuff all in one day. Despite that, I feel like I'm progressing and have a lot more understanding of myself and my pain.
