I had a coronary dissection that caused a heart attack in October. Previously very healthy, normal weight, BP etc. The dissection fortunately healed and my heart muscle was not damaged. Best outcome possible. Except that I started with terrible GI pain with negative endoscopy. Thank God for a wonderful GI Physician who immediately explained that my pain was a result of anxiety secondary to my near death medical adventure. The pain immediately disappeared. Unfortunately, it returned the following week as facial and neck pain as well as tinnitus. I am working with a therapist and reading Dr Sarno and improving a little every day. I will not allow this pain to overcome me.
