Not a good start to summer!

Friday was my first days of summer vacation, and it was a lovely day. But on Saturday, while I was gardening, I was swarmed by fire ants. My right leg has between 300 and 400 bites. Good news? I didn't end up in the ER, unable to breathe. Bad news? I have hundreds of fire ant bites! The pain is better, but it looks like I have leprosy. Plus, we have a trip planned overseas, and we're flying out in two days.
My TMS has been fine until today, when I got the killer headache. Took me most of the day to get rid of it, but I think it's finally gone.
Bottom line--life is good. But I could do with a little less excitement!

Ouch! Those tiny little bites can be surprisingly painful.

I hope you have a terrific trip to make up for it.

So sorry to hear this, Gigi. I had about 20 fire ant bites one time and it was very painful. Can't imagine having as many as you have. But the good news is that every day it will get better.

Hope you have a wonderful trip that will distract you from all things physical.

I like the quote under your post, Ellen. Food for thought!
