Beloved Grand Eagle
I was just looking at the web page advertising the Back2Life massager:

Kind of an aggressive marketing strategy, but I agree with DocDave that it couldn't hurt a TMS patient. However, I've noticed that using those circular roller tubes with cleats on the outside will loosen up the muscles in my glutes when I sit on one and roll back and forth. I guess everyone is arguing all the time about what so-called "trigger points" actually are, but using those rollers does seem to break them up and promote circulation in the area. However, you have to employ a mind-body strategy that acknowledges the underlying emotional causes of your pain if you want TMS pain to go away permanently. The Back2Life device and the rollers are only temporary fixes if you don't get an intellectual understanding of the emotional causes of your TMS condition. But if you're really gripped up and immobilized with TMS pain and a device helps reduce it, even temporarily, you might as well try it as long as you continue doing The Work too.
