Hello, everyone! :shame: I am new to this site, and I am very happy that it exists. I encountered the problem of TMS exactly a year ago after severe stress. Suddenly, my whole body started to tingle, mainly along the spine. It feels like everything inside you is aching, like when you have the flu. I had a full examination, of course, and they found nothing organic. They diagnosed me with somatoform disorder. I have been undergoing CBT therapy for a year now, I am very physically active, but I lost my meaningful job and I am an immigrant in another country, which requires support and balance. I think perfectionism and ambition are simply ingrained in my personality, which cannot relax even on Zoloft. I just wanted to share that I hope the forum will help people understand that everyone goes through their own healing process and lives without stress. For now, every other day, with exactly the same regularity, I experience this awful tickling sensation... It's as if my brain has its own program ))

Hi Vikki welcomea

Just in case you're not aware of it there is a totally free program on this forum called the Structured Education Program (SEP) that you can do, which a lot of TMSers have found very helpful: https://www.tmswiki.org/ppd/Structured_Educational_Program

Yes, thank you very much! I started practicing from this program, and sometimes it is closely intertwined with cognitive therapy. But neural connections probably take a long time to reach a different state : )
