Hello everyone. I'm getting started on the SEP and here is my first post. I have been dealing with ongoing muscle spasms, unexplained shooting pains, and major stress and anxiety issues since July 5th 2010. That was the day this hellish journey began and hopefully I am on the way to being back to my old self. I have been to over 10 different doctors, healers, chiropractors, specialists, ect... that have found nothing wrong with me. I, by sheer luck, stumbled onto this TMS idea and believe it fits me to a t. I am now undergoing a major look into my mind, body, and spirit to hopefully look for answers and begin healing. I have read Healing Back Pain and I am now in the middle of Divided Mind. I have seen some improvement in my back spasms but the shooting pains and general anxiety are still at the forefront. Wish me luck!!

Hi, Brantley. I echo Ellen's welcome to the forum. The TMS program will lead you to techniques that will heal you of
TMS pain. You went through the medical route and nothing structural was found wrong, so it's psychological.
Don't let that scare you. Just about everyone has had some repressed emotions that wind up causing anger and that causes pain.
I was one of them. I journaled about my boyhood and it led me to discover the reasons for my anger, and the people who caused it
(my parents and older brother). I discovered that they had their own TMS pain from repressed emotions, and that led me to
forgiving them, which led to ending my severe back pain. Ellen is right, you've begun an amazing journey of self-discovery
and that will help you to become healthier and happier than you ever dreamed possible.

Yes, keep us informed about your progress.

Remember: deep breathing, positive thinking, living in the present.
