My in law suffers from MS and from the past month she has been having this terrible muscles spasms. She is not willing to go to the doctor. I forced her once to take her to the doc, lying that i am taking her shopping. When we reached the clinic not only did she not get out of the car but also broke my rear view mirror. Shes not nuts if you think so she usually like that. She born and brought in Thailand and she really sticks to her roots.
On researching the web, I narrowed down to two causes: Clonus & BFS.
According to a site I recently came across, Clonus is common in MS and BFS is too. How do I make out the difference between them?
Are there any stretches or exercise or any medication that she can try? Or is it really serious that I will have to take her to a doc?
