according to dr. Sarno and followers you should UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT the real psychological source of TMS pain: that's necessary .....but not sufficient, sadly. Next you have to ACT accordingly! And that's not ease, because of habits, old believes, conditionement, myths, tradition, authomatisms, environment. So, you can be a sincere convert to the TMS concept, but if when the pain flares again you regain fears, rage, worries and body alert, touching and monitoring... you lose once more the battle with your (over)protective brain. Beware!
