I’ve made incredible progress since I ruptured a disc in my neck in 2005, which lead to chronic myofascial pain (aka TMS). After more than 14 years of pain (and 12 years of journaling and writing) I finally just published my memoir about my healing journey: The Invisible Key: Unlocking the Mystery of My Chronic Pain (available on Amazon as paperback and ebook).

I’m not “100% better” yet but I couldn’t help but want to share what I’ve learned and how much I’ve healed.

My healing came from understanding the mindbody connection (obviously, right?), after reading Sarno and others. But my path wasn’t straight. I also found my way through other mindbody approaches.

My goal in writing this was to find the people out there who are like I was—and probably how many of us here were—the skeptical ones or just uninformed ones who go through all the “traditional” stuff to no avail. So while I explain that the mindbody connection is what saved my life, I don’t call it TMS. I just explain what Sarno and others explain, without giving it a label.

I hope people find my book on healing chronic pain and trauma helpful in steering them in the direction toward true healing.
