    Hello guys,

I’m here to write about some progress. I have less painful hyperacusis (I listen to music with my earbuds everyday) but I am still struggling.

I think that trying to change on my own was the wrong move. I left my home country for a volunteering and now Im eating regularly, seing people, have a routine even if it’s not perfect.

I think my main issue is that im always anxious (and I have a lot of tension). I tried to implement some breathing exercices in the morning and at night during my skincare routine and it helps me to do that.

I feel that I always had access to nervous system regulation tools but it was always hard to do them. Im too impatient and my environment didn’t help me. There was a lot of negativity around myself, and I think the best decision for me was to leave my parents house.

Now I want to join communities to motivate each others. I feel that I need to express myself to feel better. Self-expression is important for me.

I need to get rid of my constant tension and have better thoughts even if it’s hard to not be afraid all the time. I need to seek help if needed because i always tried to do everything by my own with little success, and i think that’s why I have lost so many time without any progress. I know it’s still a long road but I hope that I will have what I need to overcome my issue. I have a right to a life that makes me happy for once.

    Kind regards,
    Adjaay

I'm glad you returned with an update, @Adjaay, and that does sound like progress. It's very good to hear that you moved away from your parents and became involved in volunteering, and that these forward-moving actions are helping you to change and grow and start to recover, even if it's slow.
