My New Mantra

    Some helpful mantras I have been working with recently that I say to myself when I feel TMS symptoms and am inclined to panic…

    “My body created this, My body is now healing this”

    or

    “What my body has created, my body has the capacity to heal from”

    or

    “This has not come to stay this has come
    to pass”

    Honestly, that's still very physically focused when you think about it.
    "What I feel in my body, my mind can heal or my thoughts can heal"...but then it's still not totally all that - because recognizing, understanding and feeling our emotional state is what truly heals us.

    yeah~ i get that feedback... but also i have come to realize that all healing of TMS really comes from within~ inner work~ and that’s what those mantras signify to me.

    It's kind of like, "Hello, Goodbye."

    You're body did create them. And can stop them. So all good if they are working for you. Thanks for sharing!

    yeah~ i’m grappling with that.
    to me, it’s obvious that my mind/body system created the pain and discomfort. so, obviously it can heal it. the challenge is deeply realizing i can heal myself from within and how to get out of my
    own way!
