I found the video interview and the emphasis on mindfulness really helpful today - I was just talking to a friend on the phone about a frustrating situation in my life, and she reminded me to "go with the flow" and take it one day at a time. It was the perfect confirmation of what I have been learning! I also found a progressive muscle relaxation video on YouTube which was quite soothing and uplifting: I've had lots of positive and meaningful experiences since I started the SEP. Even yesterday I had a really meaningful and encouraging time with a close friend of mine. We talked about how our health issues have been a gift, and have helped us to find deeper healing, spiritual growth and wholeness. It was such a beautiful day as we went to the park and had a picnic. I enjoyed it so much, and my friend said I looked really good and seem to be improving! I was happy to hear that as I don't always realise how much I have improved until other people comment.
