    thanks.

I've heard of it but my brain is failing to return any data aside from some vague notion that I heard about it within the context of bullying. I think therefore it would make sense to tms healing with respect to self-esteem and such.

Any chance you ever looked into this further? I'm now reading about many people who have recovered (or gotten dramatically better, if not completely recovered) from Mickel Therapy, and it takes about 5 sessions, it seems. Sounds similar to TMS, in that it's about finding and addressing the root problems, which are emotional. I'm interested in trying it, but I can't find any practitioners in the U.S.

I am a Mickel Therapist, trained by David Mickel who designed the Therapy. Mickel Therapy is focusing on the root cause of your symptoms, so it is not about trying to get rid of the symptoms (they will disappear by themselves once the root cause is addressed correctly). In fact, the symptoms are valuable (don't get me wrong, they are not pleasant!) as in Mickel Therapy they are messages send by your body, basically the body communicating with you :) In Mickel Therapy you learn how to encode these messages and act on them in the right way to address the root cause. I am giving free 20-30 min consultations to answer questions and inform what to expect from Mickel Therapy. I have recovered myself after 16 years with CFS. In case anyone wants to give it a go, u can book a free consult on www.mareflowtherapy.com

Do you offer any support if it doesn't work?

I remember doing it a while ago and the stress made my symptoms worse and the therapist ghosted me and I felt really confused, but there was no one to ask for help

Hey Lee, sorry havent replied to the post in the other thread as I thought the message got deleted. I personally think that not each approach will work for every single person. I tried brain retraining and nervous system techniques, many people recover with this these days but it did not do the trick for me. For me, however, the mind-body approach in the form of TMS or Mickel Therapy are the only things that made sense for me how I gotten ill, looking at my personal history thats why I trained in it. I do apply it still regulary to myself when I feel my body is tapping me on the shoulder, I would not call it symptoms anymore as I can do everything again but it comes through lets say as a mild fatigue that I know is not due to a lack of sleeo etc. I apply what I learnt and what I teach clients and it works, so for me personally it just works as i see the results.
You said the therapist ghosted you, that does not sound professional to me and i am sorry for your experience. I do think that it is possible to reach a point as therapist where all the knowledge that the therapist aquired has been past on and if the therapist supervised properly the clients activities, by that i mean the client putting into practice the transferred knowledge, and there is no effect at all then it likely will not be useful to keep pushing with the same therapy as it may just create more frustration, which in the end is stress and that will usually lead to an increase in symptoms. I am happy to go over your case for no charge and see if there is something that i can see still has potential to pull some triggers for you to improve your condition. Mickel Therapy has been adapted over the years, I have been trained in the latest cohort and I know that the "older" therapists have been trained with slighlty different approaches and not all have been trained by Dr Mickel as he had a break for couple of years.
The reason i got well is because i did not stop looking for a way out, so I think you are in either case still on the right path as by being active in this forum etc. shows that you are still looking for a solution and i am convinced that by the current progress in publication of recovery stories you will find something that will work for you eventually.
