THIS WEEK ON TMS ROUNDTABLE RECOVERY LIVE Q&A! She spent years living with chronic pain herself.
Today, she helps teens with Functional Neurological Disorder and their families find a clearer path forward.
So what did Dr. Jin Lee learn from her own recovery that now shapes the way she helps young people understand their symptoms and get back to their lives?
LIVE Q&A | She Lived With Years of Chronic Pain. Now She Helps People Recover From FND | Dr. Jin Lee, PsyD

This week, I am honored to welcome Dr. Jin Lee, PsyD, a pediatric health psychologist and founder of Teen FND Academy.
As a young competitive dancer, Jin experienced years of chronic pain and medical challenges herself.
Her own recovery, together with more than a decade of clinical experience in children’s hospitals, rehabilitation psychology, and pediatric concussion care, shaped her commitment to helping teens and families find a clear path forward.
Today, through Teen FND Academy, Dr. Lee provides structured coaching for teens with Functional Neurological Disorder and their parents.
Her goal goes beyond simply understanding a diagnosis.
She helps families build practical skills so young people can begin returning to the things chronic symptoms may have taken away from them: school, friendships, activities, independence, and everyday life.
Together, we’ll talk about FND, chronic pain, the brain and nervous system, recovery, and what both teens and parents need when symptoms have disrupted the life of an entire family.
If you are living with FND, supporting a child or teenager with chronic symptoms, or simply want to better understand how recovery can happen, bring your questions and join us live.
