Since I learned about TMS and started this program, I've experienced a lot of improvements in how I feel and in my ability to live my life. Especially at the very beginning, I felt a drastic positive change, and since then, I've kind of taken it for granted. What I mean is that, without having worked through all the psychological patterns and damaging habits that initially contributed to my TMS, I started making the most of this newfound and long-awaited energy (which I hadn't had for almost 3 years).
I neglected my further TMS learning and the work I needed to do on myself. I got so excited about this sudden boost of energy that I believed I had it all figured out: I'm healed, I can live my life to the fullest again! Well, it didn't take long for my body to start "screaming" with TMS symptoms again.
I'm not frustrated that they've come back. To me, it only means that the TMS theory really works, and it actually helps keep me on track so I can finally "shed these unnatural, unwanted, negative aspects of 'self'," as Adam Coloretti beautifully described in his post.
The moral of the story is this: my TMS is my friend. It's like a radar that shows me whether I'm heading in the right or wrong direction, whether I'm approaching life with a nourishing or damaging mindset.
