I skipped a week of studying at this educational program. Every day during this week my inner perfectionist and the "best student" were beating me up from inside. I was telling them: "It's okay, I can do the program at my own pace. My six weeks can last for a year, if necessary. I don't focus on the result, but on the process".
Note to myself: I have to say though, if I don't read or listen about TMS for a day or so my mind kind of forgets about the concept and I automatically get back to the previous mindset - start worrying about my symptoms, having thoughts about structural damages etc. As a result I feel worse right away. So it's necessary to renew all the knowledge about TMS until it becomes a part of my mindset.
Briefly take a few minutes and write down some of your fears. Why are you afraid of these things?
Consciously I am not afraid of anything, but unconsciously... my brain creates all these physical symptoms: severe tachycardia, sweating, enlarged pupils, cold hands and feet, trembling - when I do simple stuff like standing up from bed, meeting with my friends for a cup of tea, talking to a cashier, texting with someone, anticipating an event and many more. I have no explanation for this, because consciously I am not afraid and even like and want these events to happen, but at those moments my brain and body are uncontrollable. I do believe that all these symptoms are manifestations of my inner fears, but I don't understand what are they and why they developed after emotional trauma.
