I am new to TMS and I am kind of desperate.
I also have LPR and GERD diagnosed kind of out of the blue after some sleepless nights in Sepetember even though I have never really experienced heartburn before. Now 3 months later I am kind of in a tailspin. Long story but my LPR is out of control, it hurts all the time. The only thing that seems to keep it back is chewing gum, I am kind of getting sick of chewing gum

. It also seems like when my LPR flares up really bad after I eat I also get very flushed in my face and my joints start to pop. I am really worried that this is some sign of a larger chronic condition which I don't even want to know about
My question here is if I am chewing gum am I not giving fully to TMS by trying to keep the pain at bay? Also, any other suggestions to get this under control would be helpful.
