Age doesn't matter so much as the symbolic significance of the age
Isn’t this ironic? It’s all perception! What if we just refused to think we’re “old.” Ever notice how young an age seems when you’re way past it? Like 40 year olds seem so YOUNG to me! I thought my life was over when I turned 40. Now my kids are turning 40 and they’re so sad and worried. My aunt is 90, and she thinks I’m a “kid.”

You're so right. It is all about perception isn't it? I am about to be 39 and I don't feel nearly as old as I THOUGHT 39 was when I was a kid!
