Long COVID.

Lyme disease and multiple co-infections.
More than a year spent mostly on the couch.
For Alisha Braswell, the life she knew as a runner, yoga instructor, and farmer seemed to disappear almost overnight.
Today, she is walking, hiking, practicing yoga, gardening, spending time with the people she loves, and helping others reconnect with their own capacity to heal.
So what helped her move from survival mode back into life?

This week, I am honored to welcome Alisha Braswell, a Mind-Body Coach passionate about helping people reconnect with calm, inner safety, and vibrant health.
After a series of major life changes followed by her second COVID infection, Alisha was diagnosed with Long COVID, Lyme disease, and multiple co-infections, leaving her with more than 15 debilitating symptoms.
Her once-active life came to a halt, and she spent more than a year mostly confined to the couch.
That season forced Alisha to ask some very deep questions about who she was beyond being a runner, yoga instructor, and farmer.
Through meditation, journaling, Reiki, and inner work, she began learning how to slow down, listen to her body, and reconnect with a sense of safety.
A major turning point came when she discovered the TMS and mind-body teachings of Dr. John Sarno, Dr. Howard Schubiner, and Rebecca Tolin.
Learning about the connection between the mind, nervous system, and body helped transform the way she understood her symptoms and her recovery.
Today, Alisha lives a lively but more balanced life filled with gardening, yoga, walking, hiking, and time with loved ones. As a Mind-Body Coach, she now supports others on their own journey back toward health.
And this week, we are not only going to talk about inner safety.
We are going to practice it together.
We’ll explore what “feeling safe in your body” actually means, how we can begin cultivating it, and practical ways to work with the nervous system when symptoms, fear, or overwhelm show up.
